I never thought I'd be sent into someone's life like I have been.
Dad told me this morning that he was proud of me. Proud that I'm using the Baskin Robbins theory. lol. Yesterday, I had it lined up to hang out with three different boys.

I started out the day going to Barnes and Noble with Brett so we could buy Screwtape Letters for our literary discussions. We looked everywhere and couldn't find it, it was hilarious. I finally just asked someone and we got the last two paperback copies. :D Then we sat in his car for a couple of hours and talked. That kid is my soul twin. We could talk forever. We're way too alike. Then I said goodbye because I was supposed to call Rob. I called Rob, and he needed to go through all his paperwork to apply for his visa. So no hanging out with Rob. :( I started reading Screwtape and texted Brett about it, and then we decided it was too deep to discuss via text, so he came and picked me up and we sat in the eatery at Maceys, eating ice cream and discussing letters from a high-position devil to his novice nephew. And then we ended up recalling the first times we met and talked and how we became really close friends overnight... it was funny.

Came home in time for Nick and Cory to pick me up. Haha, those guys make me laugh so hard! Nick used to work at Maceys, but didn't work for long. Long enough for us to become friends, lol. We picked up pizza and a movie and then went to his house and played Brawl. I've been waiting forever to play that game! It was fun. Nick told me I was the best girl he'd ever seen play it, and I was way good. lol! That makes me happy, because I'm not actually that great, but I was able to keep up with them for the most part. I love impressing boys to an extent. XD And then Rob came over! And he played with us. Then another guy came over and we started watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Wow. It was so dumb, but a lot of fun. Some great quotes. "But Bill! Those are some -historical- babes!" lol! Rob had to leave after the movie... I wish he'd stayed, 'cause then some of Cory's friends came over and I observed how incredibly shallow and dumb and -mean- guys can be! The two guys that came over only knew two adjectives, I swear. "Ugly" and "Hot". All they talked about were these girls that met at EFY, and they mostly just bashed on all the ugly girls in their group, while texting the one hot girl they'd met. I wanted so badly to warn that poor girl to run away while she could. Boys are -dumb-!!

Nick kept looking over at me apologetically. I think he was really embarassed by them. He says he doesn't hang out with them much, Cory invites them over sometimes. Good. Don't taint yourself by association, Nick! lol. But I was sitting on the couch, talking to Nick, and then his younger brother, probably not much younger than I am, passed behind me and went up the stairs and Nick was giving him this look. Nick: "My brother Jordan thinks you're my girlfriend..." XD I guess Nick doesn't actually hang out with girls that much! I don't know why. He's hilarious and quite good-looking. But because I hung out with him... Jordan thinks I'm his girlfriend. It makes me laugh. Nick made sure there were, like, five million pillows between us on the couch. lol.

Next time I hang out with Nick, those two boys will not be around. Nick will kick them out for me. :) I wish Rob hadn't left, though. He's my fellow mighty mormon! Oh well. It was all good. Rob and Nick are the greatest. Sorry if this is completely pointless to read. I think I'm just talking to talk.

But enough about boys. Well, never enough, but I'll stop anyway. Graduation! It was actually really good. Not even boring. I got my hat knocked off twice by a beachball, though. Texted Brett during the whole thing. Sang "Peace Be With You" for the last time. Got to stand as one of the top 12 GPAs in the class. It was good. And now I'm... graduated. No more high school. It's the "real world" now.

Hah, I told Ryan something at work. I told him "They can't throw me out into the real world! I'm too young! I'm too stupid!" And it's true! I'm the future? I'm tomorrow? Oh boy, they're in trouble. At least I've got Charlie to show me the ropes. Thank goodness for Chuckaroos!

I'm done rambling now. I love you guys! Be excellent to each other! And party on, dudes!

*giggles at your "i'm too stupid" comment*

Aw, thanks! Can you believe I photoshopped that picture myself? I love photoshop! Hooray for the clone tool and gaussian blurs! lol

Misha! Please tell me I don't have to get married yet! I don't want to get married yet! *pout*
mishanoke: darlingmishanoke on June 10th, 2008 11:54 pm (UTC)
...Nep, you do -not- have to get married yet. ...you haven't got any proposals, have you? o.o; Just remember I loved Alex four years! I only got engaged so fast because I knew that it was right--so, yeah, when you know you know. Maybe you'll end up getting married early or several years down the road, just don't let it freak you out, okay?

Aw, thanks. <3 I know I don't have to... and no, I don't have any proposals yet, lol.... Well, beside the whole Rob thing. We've got it planned up to our first anniversary!

It's just everyone's telling me I'm going to end up married quickly. It's the "Oh... you're going to BYU!" thing. Christine gives me six months, my sunday school teacher gives me three... And I'm just afraid that I really will meet that someone and I'll end up married quickly. But I'm so young and stupid, I need some life experience before I do that. I love boys, dating, and flirting too much to tie myself to one boy yet. Sigh. I mean, I know it'll all work out no matter what happens, if I just listen to the spirit, but I'd really like to get married when I'm 21 or 22. Not sooner, that just feels so young to me. If I really really had it my way at this point, Rob would come home in two years and then we'd get married, lol, but I don't think that's gonna happen. :3

I want to find a guy that fits me like Eric fits you. Seeing you guys at the reception... I couldn't imagine you with anyone else. You two are so beautiful together. You're one. I want it to be like that with whomever I marry. No one else will work.

It doesn't hurt to wait, lol. :D Maybe the Rob thing would work out!

You know, you aren't stupid. Just inexperienced. I promise. Stupidity is when you aren't trying to grow from everyday life. You level of genius increases everyday. I know that for a fact, especially after getting married, I had to learn quickly so we wouldn't fight.

I can understand though not wanting to tie yourself off to one boy. Keep that in mind, date lots of people. You are in charge of your own destiny, you know. Just don't cast a good boy back into the pond just because you feel you're too stupid to keep him. :P And you know, if you find the right boy, you'll know when you should get married (like Eric and I knew we couldn't wait until summer, we had to get married at Christmas time, we would have gotten married sooner if we could have)--and if you want to wait, he'll wait for you too, and if he doesn't, then would it have worked out if you married him?

And hey! Look at me! I got married a month before I turned 21. :D It is possible to not get married at age 18! (even if you go to BYU, :P!) And I think that everyone predicts that you'll be married so soon, or at least engaged, because you are an amazing woman that will attract men--amazing men, for sure.

Awh, thanks Nep. It's amazing to hear comments like those, where Eric and I "fit" because we feel it, too. We had our Institute teacher's wife tell us that we were definitely in love, she could just tell how much in love we were. It made me giggle so much. I know that you'll find the perfect person, Nep, if you just keep your eyes open and don't pressure yourself into anything. We work off the Lord's time. And even if the church says that there is no real such thing as a soul-mate, that there are more than one person out there for us to find, for some of us, there is just that person who is right for us, but we can't find them unless we have the Lord's help. Don't let it stress you out, mmkay? If you really aren't ready for it, the Lord isn't going to put you into that situation, kay? He only does things for your growth.

Love you!
Misha

...That was the most amazing reply ever. I will keep it and eat it for dessert the rest of my life. Thank you.

*giggle* Does it taste like vanilla pudding? Mmmn, vaniiiiiilllaaaaa~ *hugs you* You're so awesome, Nep. :D And you're welcome, I'm always here if you want to talk.

Dang Nep, so popular with the boys.
Who’s Brett?

Shallow boys are stupid. You should’ve punched them or sumthin’ sumthin’.

Who’s Nick?

You were in the top 12 GPAs? That’s sick. What’s ever more sick is that I’ll probably make you help me with my homework. ;_;

I am so excited for you to live with me. :D And my roommate is moving out for the summer, so you could prolly even move some stuff in early and have practice sleepovers with me. (Ha ha… ha)

Brett Hashimoto is a crazy asian kid. He's fourth-gen Japanese, so I speak more Japanese than he does (which is saying something), and taught and baptized my dear friend May Bo this year. He took State in tennis this year and makes bank teaching people how to play tennis during the summer. His car's name is Buella, and we're way more alike than anyone would have thought we'd be. When I wasn't sure if Tyson liked me anymore, for some random reason I started texting him about it, and we haven't really stopped texting since. He helped me through it... and yeah. He's a good kid. He'll make a great missionary.

I should've smacked those guys a one-two one-two!~ Gr!

Nick, like I said, used to work at Maceys. He's cute. Has a good pair of sideburns, a really deep voice, the most random sense of humor, and super grass-stained shoes. He plays soccer and nurses baby ducks back to health and works at Papa Murphey's again. He graduated from Murray last year. You'd like Nick a lot. He's awesome. :3

Actually, I was in the top 6 GPAs, but they had the top 12 stand. Yeah, I'll help you with your homework. XD If I can! lol, I really am kinda stupid.
